Knotted Flower
by Andrew Borck | @bfriendlygiant
In the middle of the Eyrewood, a rare flower grows.
A Lookout needs it,
A Daughter protects it,
A Thornwatch would only see it as part of a knot.
Deep in the Eyrewood, a flower is picked.
A Lookout ties it to a tree,
A Daughter is angered,
A Thornwatch is summoned.
Under a bare, lonely tree a man is leaning under the knot.
A Lookout stands guard,
A Daughter comes at him from the West,
A Thornwatch comes from the East.
In front of the tree, an ebb-infected bear charges.
A Lookout holds out his dagger, and closes his eyes.
A Daughter grabs the bear with vines,
A Thornwatch strikes the bear down.
Deep in the Eyrewood, a flower is replanted.
A Lookout is shown the way home,
A Daughter smiles,
A Thornwatch fulfills a knot.
In the middle of the Eyrewood, a rare flower grows.
